Hostage Situation Regulations

A Hostage Situation is considered when one or more armed Test Subject takes one or more Corporation Personnel as a hostage, not allowing them to leave the area in exchange for something.

Regulations

  • Combative personnel are not allowed to be taken hostage.
  • The personnel being taken hostage may retaliate, but no other non-combative personnel may shoot the hostage-taker. The hostage may not retaliate after having announced the situation on the radio.
  • The hostage MUST inform about the situation on staff radio so combative personnel can respond accordingly.
  • Any and all non-combative personnel may be taken hostage.
  • Only SC Security Commando Squadron can deal with hostages.
  • Special Detachment Squad Zeta ("Board Guardians") is authorized to take over a hostage situation in case an Overseer Board personnel is involved in the situation.
  • If no SCS are present at the time of the hostage, they must be requested. If none appear after 10 minutes, the situation becomes invalid and the TS can be terminated by any combative force.
  • The same TS can only participate in a hostage situation with an interval of 30 minutes between each.
