Termination Criteria

This page covers all possible reasons to terminate or attempt to terminate a human individual.

Test Subjects

E-Class personnel are considered Test Subjects as well, even though they may not participate in testing under normal circumstances.

This section covers the reasons to terminate a Test Subject or E-Class personnel.

By Security Forces

Test Subjects and E-Class personnel may be terminated by security forces if any of the following criteria are met:

• The individual has received three or more warnings to move away from the Test Subject Containment termination line.
• The individual is out of the Test Subject Containment without proper escort and reason.
• The individual is in a restricted area inside the Test Subject Containment without an escort.
• The individual is angering or attempting to breach an Anomaly (termination is voided during a scientific test where the individual has been instructed to do so by a researcher).
• The individual is holding, is using, or has used any contraband.
• The individual has been deemed to be a threat to a VIP by a guarding division or detachment.

By Corporation Personnel

Test Subjects and E-Class personnel may be terminated by any Corporation Personnel in self-defense only if any of the following criteria are met:

• The individual has taken or is trying to take the Corporation Personnel hostage.
• The individual has pointed a weapon directly at the Corporation Personnel.
• The individual is trying to shoot or has shot at the Corporation Personnel.

Corporation Personnel

This section refers to Corporation Personnel from Security Level 0 to Security Level 3 only. Executive and directorate personnel termination criteria have their own section.

This section covers the reasons to terminate a Corporation Personnel.

By Security Forces

Corporation Personnel from Security Level 0 to Security Level 3 may be terminated by security forces if any of the following criteria are met:

• The individual is trying to shoot or has shot at another Corporation Personnel unethically.
• The individual is present within the kill zone of executive personnel.
• The individual has held or is holding a weapon, in the same room as executive personnel.
• The individual has been designated for termination by directorate personnel, with a valid reason. Only Special Detachment Zeta ("Board Guardians") is authorized to terminate under this reason.
• The individual has been deemed to be a threat to a VIP by a guarding division or Special Detachment.
• The individual is interfering with the containment of an Anomaly.
• The individual is angering or attempting to breach an Anomaly.
• The individual is a threat to the containment of an Anomaly.
• The individual has attempted to or has entered the Zeta Complex. Personnel may only be terminated for this reason by intelligence personnel.
• The individual is interfering or interacting in any way with intelligence personnel. Personnel may only be terminated for this reason by intelligence personnel.

By Corporation Personnel

Corporation Personnel from Security Level 0 to Security Level 3 may only be terminated by other Corporation Personnel if the individual directly attacked another Corporation Personnel. The individual may only be terminated in self-defense and may not be terminated in defense of others.

Executive Personnel

Executive personnel are Corporation employees holding a Security Level 4 clearance.

Executive personnel may be terminated only by the listed security forces and for the reasons listed below:

• May be terminated by intelligence personnel if they are actively interfering with their duties.
• May be terminated by intelligence personnel if they have entered or are attempting to enter the Zeta Complex.
• May be terminated by any security force if they are actively engaging other Corporation Personnel with a weapon unethically.

Directorate Personnel

Directorate personnel are Corporation employees holding a Security Level 5 clearance. This also includes Base Commanders.

Directorate personnel may be terminated only by the listed security forces and for the reasons listed below:

• May be terminated by intelligence personnel if they are actively interfering with their duties.
• May be terminated by intelligence personnel if they have entered or are attempting to enter the Zeta Complex.
• May be terminated by any security force if they are actively engaging other Corporation Personnel with a weapon unethically.

Intelligence Personnel

Illegally terminating an intelligence personnel is a felony violation and will result in severe consequences.

Intelligence personnel may not be terminated under any circumstances unless authorized by a Supreme Council member.

Overseer Board

Ilegally terminating an Overseer Board member is a felony violation and will result in the most severe consequence possible in most cases.

Overseer Board members may not be terminated under any circumstances unless authorized by a Supreme Council member or by the board member themselves.
