Powers of the Board

The Overseer Board is the highest authority in the Corporation before the Supreme Council. All Board members are responsible for the overseeing of a department or a selection of departments, as long as they are related. The Overseer Board has the power to introduce major changes to the Corporation, as long as it passes a majority of votes and is finally approved by the Supreme Council.

Voting

The Overseer Board can initiate voting sessions to introduce changes to the Corporation, however in a limited scope.

Regulations

The regulations for voting are as follows:

  • Board members are required to start a voting session in order to introduce changes to their department(s) if one of the following requirements are met:
    • The change may or will affect other departments or Corporation operations.
    • The change may or will introduce new policies to the Corporation as a whole (such as Criminal Violations).
  • Board members may vote to blacklist or unblacklist an individual or a group of individuals from the Corporation. The Intelligence Service must be immediately notified in case of an unblacklist voting. The Intelligence Service directorate has the right to indefinitely interrupt an unblacklist voting session for any reason, which may only be overridden by the Supreme Council.
  • In case an individual or a group of individuals is blacklisted through a voting session, the Intelligence Service must be immediately notified of the decision.
  • The Overseer Board may not start voting sessions to change aspects of the game, including lore-related subjects. They must create a suggestion to the Development Team following the appropriate procedures.
  • The Overseer Board may not create internal voting sessions to change, add or remove a Corporation policy. This must be done through the Executive Committee.
  • Board members may forward their internal proposals to the Executive Committee if they would like a second opinion on a subject. This can only be done upon agreement of all the Overseer Board. Regardless of the results of the proposal inside the Executive Committee, the Overseer Board may still pass a voting session that was forwarded, as long as it passes the Board majority voting.

Parliamentary Immunity

The Overseer Board is granted parliamentary immunity, meaning that all Board members are granted full immunity from most of the Corporation policies. The following violations will still be applied to Board members, regardless if their parliamentary immunity is valid or not.

caution

A Board member's parliamentary immunity may be revoked by the Overseer of the Office of Personnel Management and the Supreme Council at any time, with a valid reason. It may be given back with the approval of the Supreme Council.
